The MAJORITY OF MEN DO NOT POST PICTURES. THEY SEEM TO THINK JUST BECAUSE THEY SEND U A " notice" you should jump! They do not READ your requirements even a simple one like post a picture for response. I trued canceling my subscription and ACCIDENTALLY renewed! They would not let me cancel. It sign up with a special and you do not cancel it, it eill AUTOMATICALLY RENEW At full price!'
I was conned into this scam site by their fake daily suggestions. They use so many fakes to entice you to pay. Once you have paid for subscription you can hardly cancel it. Customer service is worthless, they just ignore my requests for cancelling. The only way to stop them from charging you for the features they make up every week is to change you bank card. The reason I want to cancel it is overwhelming amount of scammers on Ourtime. You can't identify a real woman there, there is just no way to find her because of endless scammers.

They make money on recurring payments and overcharges. They provide no real service but they just don't let you cancel. I use
http://J4Flirt.com
Now and I don't have any problems of this kind there, plus they have overall higher caliber of women and better verification process.
Ourtime is a hoax, maybe it was a good concept once, but its execution is very poor now, it's ridiculous. Trust me, you will do yourself a big favor, if you don't go near this "service". Using all kinds of legal and illegal tricks to get your money, they basically steal it from you.
All likes that I got on Ourtime were absolutely fake, but I discovered this only after I had paid for their overpriced membership. All my matches were located at distant places, moreover, neither of them replied to my message. What's the point of Ourtime? I have a feeling that it's dead (except of bots). It's absolutely worthless. I got no results for the money I paid.
First time I had been on a dating site since I was in my 20's. Being an honest person, never even thought sites would play the games they apparently do! First had technical issues with photos disappearing or not getting loaded or approved (with nothing being inappropriate about them). Luckily, they did have a call center (not in the U.S.) that would assist. Other problems I experienced were getting TONS of canned messages such as "Your photo caught my eye" or "Nice profile", with a lot of these profiles being incomplete with no photos. I totally believe most of these were completely fake profiles, their way of making it seem as if men were interested so I would want to keep paying them.
What kind of educated person can't write a few independent sentences they can't come up with on their own? Men would come up that in no way met my search criteria. But probably the most disingenuous thing I ended up finding out for a FACT from customer service, is they do not take down old profiles (if they are even real to begin with). So you could spend hours of your time messaging people that haven't been on that site for possibly years. This angered me to no end when I found out, I'm busy and they have no respect for people's time. Bought a six month subscription and ended up getting 5 months credited. (Thank GOD!) DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS SITE!
Sent out over 400 messages,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 0 Responses,,,,, Whats that tell you about this "Dating" site! TOTAL RIP OFF, STAY AWAY, and DONT WASTE Your time or MONEY!
This site lacks everything we take for granted as part of a respectable business operation. Yes, initial cost might seem low, but the operation and service does NOT meet the barest minimum of service. My experience and response is from a male perspective.
There is no site wide ability to select geographic match limitations. Daily match referrals will include profiles from all over the country. Even in the search system, which does allow a search specification of "close" to a specified zip code, you are presented with contacts 4 -5 hrs driving time away!
Of those daily matches, expect a good number will be inactive or fake profiles. After composing a message to a presented "match" who really is not an active member, you will be given the option to enroll in a "reply for free" program ($8.95/month) that allows the non-member to respond.
There is no respecting desired status of the match. Constantly, as a guy seeking biologically correct females, the site presents a guy sporting a female name as a possible match. NOT in my world! Complaints about this are met with a form letter email that claims your concern will be addressed shortly. Don't hold your breath. A personalized response NEVER comes.
Another common scam is the presentation of very attractive female photos claiming to be in your reasonable age frame, but obviously very young. Of the ones conceivably (visually) in an appropriate age range, after some initial communication, expect to be requested to help financially with some sort of emergency situation. Although less common recently, in language syntax, they seem to have an oriental or Spanish back ground. Fortunately, they are easy to pick out, and if you are so inclined, good fun to screw with.
The site's email system is another joy! The cursor constantly jumps around the screen, inserting type in unintended locations. It is best when signing in to tap the keep me logged in button, otherwise, in the middle of typing, your communication will be dropped, without any advance notice or automatic saving of intended message. If you are logged in to stay, you can select to log out when desired. You will also be notified when giving a detailed email that you are out of space and must close/send. They really must have searched hard to find such a poorly performing email system.
As with any broken clock (showing the correct time twice a day) occasionally it is possible to meet an interesting prospective & active "match". In those very rare situations, all the negatives in dealing with the site might be over looked, but most of us can have better and more enjoyable use of our time.
I hope this review has been helpful.
Unfortunately, this program will not accept a file in word format and is requesting jpg or other photo file format. That will require printing the email and then scanning in as a photo. Unfortunately, I am not in my office and am unable to accomplish those tasks at the moment, working on my laptop away from office.
I should have read the reviews first before I joined for one month because I wasted my money. Most of the messages are "FAKE"--And the women that are on there will not communicate at all. I'm a good looking guy and well off. Any woman that is worth looking at will not communicate. They just post their profile and sit and wait for guys to contact them. And most will never reply back. I didn't pay right away but when I saw I got 12 messages I thought I better pay to read them. What a joke, they were all fake come on messages to get you to join.---DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I joined our time on or around January 2,2021. At first, it seemed alright, some of the men seem like good people. The problem that I have is with the website. The more that I preferred a particular race, the more the top of my profile page website pushed the race that was not my choice. Also, too many ads on my page. They seem like they want to pick the person for you. Finally, on January 16,2021, ended my subscription and have not been on the site since. Someone who is behind the scene of this site is pushing for members to stick with their own race. What race a member chooses is their business. I would not recommend this site to anybody.
I established a membership with the "Our Time" Dating website by telephone, with the assistance of an "Our Time" employee on November 18,2020. That was the absolute last time that I was ever able to get an employee on the phone. Calling their toll free number always resulted in a hang up. I found on line customer support to be completely useless. I was not given any sort of an instructional assist as to how the website operates, in particular, the member communication choices. I was never able to communicate by phone with anyone, even after paying an extra fee for that option. I finally figured out one week before my membership expired that the "on line" texting option was the only way that I could reach other members. And even then it was questionable if my messages were ever received. They have a message verification option available for an extra cost.
The one and only member correspondence that I was able to establish turned out to be a scam.
Terrible site! Buyer Beware! Quick to take your money and offer extremely poor, ignorant Customer Service. Very unethical site! Save your money! You will quickly regret joining.
UPDATE
I disputed OurTimes charges on my credit card. My credit card researched and contacted OurTimes. My credit card accepted my disputes and refunded all of my money. I'm so happy I have a great credit card!I paid the money for a 6-month subscription.
I discovered that when I send an email I get the notice, "Let Her Reply For Free." This cost $8.99 per person. So if you send 10 emails it will cost you $89.99 for her to write back to you.
The other horrible thing is that if you click the "Let Her Reply For Free", to see what it says, it automatically charges your credit card. So now I have all these extra charges on my credit card.
I did file a complaint and OurTime responded with a generic response that didn't address my issue.
They take your money, don't connect you with anyone! Scam you delete someone they reappear, you can't read the message they sent you,. After a day, after a while,. The ones your messaged reappear as new,.
This site deserved a ZERO star rating. They have not provided a single response any ANY of my MANY requests for help. They take your money and provide NO VALUE WHATSOEVER.
The website is a BOGUS SCAM and a TOTAL RIPOFF!
I will be making a formal complaint to the authorities and hope something can be done to stop this money grab.
I joined OurTime early September, 2020. By 23 September, my account information was reset by an unknown person. From my personal account they contacted me via text on my cell phone saying their account was deleted. He called himself Tony and called from *******886.
24 September, someone changed my photo and contacted over 100 men as me. This person changed the alerts and dating criteria so I had no clue until I checked on the 26th.
After posting a note to these men and on my profile my account was hacked, i asked several of them for the phone number they were supposed to contact. It was *******886 aka TONY.
28 September contacted OurTime. "Jamie" took me through several steps to change my pasword and other settings to kick this scammer of my profile. The attempt was unsuccessful and I just cancelled the account. My personal information is not safe with his site.
OurTime does nothing to stop "Tony" saying there are risks on all dating sites.
